Yale Dynasorb Rigging Rope 3/4in
- Product Review (submitted on February 25, 2016):
- I feel there should be a caution statement that comes with this rope. IF you are use to traditional stablebraid / doublebraid ropes, this rope might take you by surprise . It stretches a lot! That elastic stretch can take people by surprise and the log or limb travels further than you expect, striking house roofs or other obstacles. So, the only reason I'm writing this is to educate and maybe prevent an incident from happening. The stretch has a benefit though. The majority of the people doing tree work, unfortunately have no idea what they are doing and what is happening. This rope builds in safety for idiot groundpersons that do not understand the importance of letting a rigging rope run and slowly decelerating the material to a gentle stop. Too many operations just hold a rope tight and shock load the rope. This rope will take shock loads better. It has it's place. It might also have a place as a pull line, where you tensioned a top and need that top to leap out over an object below.
