Had to block one down today and figured it might be time to try a wire core flipline, There are several out there to choose from, which one to pick ??? Save yourself some time and grief, this one is the real deal. If choosing between swivel or non-swivel, pick swivel, you will be glad you did. Also, if you do trees larger than 20" in diameter, go for 10' or 12' length. This lanyard felt good with a rope grab, but I think I prefer a hip prusik with slack tender as this seems to work better for me. This lanyard works great on spars and stalks but I still like a non-wire core when working the canopy. No reason why you can't own 2 types. Seems to be well made and affordably priced. I felt more secure running a chainsaw with this setup. (Posted on 4/6/2012)
