Details

New to the SHERRILLtree pruning lineup is this compact folding saw with curved 8 inch blade. This pull-cut saw features a high carbon steel blade with impulse hardened teeth for maintaining maximum sharpness.

The comfortable rubber coated handle feels good in your hand and provides a full enclosure for the blade when folded.

Most folding saws have a lever-style lock which can be clunky and easily disengaged on accident. SHERRILLtree's folding saw features a unique push button lock which is very user friendly.

8" Legacy is surprisingly sharp... Review by Bob Foresti

With the break in the weather, I had a chance to test-drive my new Sherrill 8" Legacy folding handsaw on what amounted to a truck load of maple, pine and apple branches ranging from <0.5" to 3.5" in diameter. I can't complain as it was priced right and worked very well for me. I'd certainly recommend it. (Posted on 2/20/2017)
Worth considering for a folder Review by Maintainer.NC

Saw's handle is easy to grip with gloves on and large lock button doesn't seem to present a problem either. Blade cuts well. Large handle means it doesn't fit in my present folding saw scabbards, however, but that's not a deal breaker. I don't climb - I maintain the Appalachian Trail, so your needs may vary. Overall, it's a decent design at a reasonable price. Jury's still out whether it will be my new go-to folder. (Posted on 2/9/2017)
