Extremely low friction, light, compact. Easily attaches to any and all gear, and quickly at that. Review by Hank

Very noticeable lack of friction. Those using double rope technique are very familiar with the feel of walking up a rope that goes over a micro-pulley or similar device, and using the Cocoon 5 is noticeably superior. Very little friction. Totally smooth. By the way, the Sherrill Tree web page listing the Cocoon calls it the "Cocoon 4", but what ships is actually the Cocoon 5, same device that's part of the Ropeguide twinline kit. Great way to manage friction when combined with a ring or carabeiner in a false crotch. Many applications for this device. Very handy when used in a choker, friction saver application to avoid trying to find the perfect crotch or blocking down and rigging large pieces of wood. (Posted on 4/1/2011)
