Improved for 2013!
Ever since its initial launch in 2007, the treeMOTION has wowed its users with exceptional comfort, great range of motion, individual gear loops, great work positioning convenience, and improved distribution of loads as well as by its premium quality materials. It has also become one of the most sought-after climbing harnesses for arborists.

Treemagineers aim to continuously improve their products by listening to arborists’ feedback. We are extremely pleased to introduce to you an upgraded version of our treeMOTION!

One of its new features is the PPE approved rear attachment option according to EN 358. It serves mainly as a retaining feature if the user is working bent over forward in the tree.

In addition, the upgraded treeMOTION was tested for a total load of 264.5 lbs, instead of only 220.5 lbs. This gives climbers the ability to safely carry more gear.

For the safety of climbers, there is a stitched seam at both ends of the rope bridge in order to ensure that the rope ends are long enough beyond the knot.

Furthermore, the use of the DMM Axis Swivel S on the rope bridge instead of the ring was tested as well.

At the request of many, the comfortable back padding has now become a standard part of the treeMOTION. This padding has wide flexible grooves that support the dissipation of heat and allow the padding to rest snugly against the wearer‘s body without creases. The central part of the padding is specifically designed for the lumbar region and provides additional support.

The treeMOTION has been built to cater to the highest demands and expectations. This has been achieved by using a high-strength textile/plastic mixture, best quality hardware, and exchangeable wearing parts such as hip-leg connection, sliding D, and leg loops.

If you’ve been putting off purchasing a new saddle, the wait is now over. Get a treeMOTION today!

I had this harness on my wishlist for a long time. It's a lot of bones and I had a perfectly good Sherrilltree Edge harness that I liked. When I finally felt like I could justify the purchase, I was not disappointed. Very comfortable and built really solid. It's maybe an 8 out of 10 in the gear placement aspect, but otherwise it's an all-around 10. Comfortable as can be, light weight, awesome movement. If you can afford the best, this is what you want. Well worth every cent. The second harness have ever used but by far the best. Most of the time I don't even notice I am wearing it. You have to take the time to customize to you however, it is not perfect out of the box. But, with a little time and a few extras, this will prove itself as the best climbing harness you can own. I've had the tree motion saddle for about 2 months now and I must say from the time I put it on to now it's proven to be the best investment I've made yet when it comes to gear. It's light, attaches and comes off easy, is super durable and adaptable, it looks cool, it is as comfortable as they come, and it seems like it's a buy one and never need a new one kind of thing. I have not actually used the 2013 version as I bought the original tree motion in 2013 just before the new version came out. I do know that even the original version is still the best harness I've ever used in the 12 years I've been climbing. I can only imagine the comfort of this version. Can't wait till it gets in my hands. (Posted on 1/28/2016)

Very comfortable, it has improved my movements and has great support. Customized like no other and allows you to place important tools for quick reach. The waist adjustment is very hard to adjust when on. I even had my grown workers try and help me adjust it and all they did was swing me around like a doll. This is the only down side other then that, great product. (Posted on 5/15/2015)

This is my 4th harness i have purchased to date. I hate the petzl sequoia prior to purchasing the one and i thought the sequioa was a versitale harness... At first i was skeptical about spending 500 bananas on a harness. But wow am i glad i did!! The the reviews i read on this before buying had no justice towards this thing. It is insane the customization you can do with this guy. You can create any set up and points you can imagine to put the gear you need to use on a daily basis. Rather then the manufacturer dictating where you place carabiner and caritools, you put them where you want. It is truly an amazing piece of equipment and the amount of comfortableness that this saddle offers is great. Being up in the tree for long periods of time is now something i look forward to when using this saddle. 3 thumbs up if i had a third thumb to offer. Haha (Posted on 2/25/2014)

I sure hope the designers got rich making this belt. While it is a good fit and very lightweight. The back is a bit too wide and i feel the materials are cheap. And the waist comes lose after about 30hrs of use and declining (Posted on 12/27/2012)

The best harness one can buy. You can customise it and adjust it to your body type like no other. I'd imagine Shane Lund's experience was due to not adjusting and monitoring accordingly. Once I dialed in my harness I don't have wear on the webbing for the leg supports. (Posted on 7/14/2011)

I'm using my 2nd treeMotion and will buy a 3rd. It is the most comfortable harness made. In my 15th year of climbing every technical advantage is an investment into my body's longevity. (Posted on 5/24/2011)

The belt was great for comfort but only lasted me 9 months of climbing. One of the straps was twisted during a long climb and whore half way through. I do have a great deal of respect for the people that disigned this belt. (Posted on 2/12/2011)
