The Woodboy Dozuki saw from Silky Japan offers exceptional quality with non-set teeth and a taper ground, chrome-plated blade. A smooth pull-cutting edge, results from the 27 teeth per inch pattern. The thin flexible blade is perfect for intricate joinery. The blade locks in two positions for tight spots and kerfing dados. The length of blade and handle in the open position is 22" (560mm). In its closed position it measures 12" (305mm). Blade length is 9-1/2". Blade kerf is 0.65mm. The Silky Dozuki saw style are not recommended for flush cut applications.

A Must for the Jointer Review by Jonathan Schilling

Like other Silky saws, I feel that this dozuki is in it's own class. The folding feature allows you to easily pack the saw for storage. The cut is very fine, very precise; the saw is easy to engage into the wood and cuts/tracks superior to other dozuki's by Vaughan and Tajima. The hollow ground blade prevents binding. This saw is excellent for fine joinery. (Posted on 1/11/2015)
a pleasure Review by Roy Underhill

These are truly fine Japanese saws! They are a pleasure just to sit and hold, and then when I got to use the larger one on some heavy hickory, I got a real taste of how satisfying they will be to use! I have them at the school now, and I'll bring them out and let students try them. I'm sure Silky will find some new fans! (Posted on 8/31/2011)
