Details

Best-selling, heavy-duty, professional hand saw with a very well-balanced 15-2/5-inch, curved fixed blade. Large, comfortable sure-grip handle gives strength and flexibility to the full length of the saw. Curved blade provides a greater cutting speed with less effort. Utilizes proprietary Silky 4-RETSUME (Four Rows of Teeth) Technology. Teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be 4 rows of them. Ideal for the toughest pruning jobs! The heavy duty blade with precision-ground, razor sharp blade 5.5 teeth per inch is designed to cut on a pull stroke and provides fast, clean and extremely smooth cutting action. Superbly designed comfortable rubber hand grip absorbs vibration while cutting and provides excellent control over the full length of the saw. The hard chrome-plated blade resists rust and effects of tree resin, and wipes clean easily. Great combination of high performance blade with a comfortable sure-grip handle that really sticks in your hands. Exceptional design, strength, balance and superior finish quality. Comes with a custom black polypropylene sheath equipped with both ring and belt strap attachments that can be used on the left and right side and allow attachment to a tree saddle using carabiner. Suitable for serious pruning tasks and ideal for aggressive cutting and efficient chip removal. Made in Japan.

I was concerned that the Ibuki 390 would be too large to be useful in the canopy. My fears were proved untrue, I am incredibly satisfied with my purchase. The Ibuki cuts incredibly fast and takes no prisoners, I've got some flapping skin on my fingertips to prove it. (Posted on 6/6/2014)
Outstanding Saw Review by Maintainer.NC

I've used my Ibuki for some 5 years as a trail maintainer on the Appalachian Trail. As you can read from the other reviewers, there's not much this thing won't do. It's a lot lighter than a chainsaw to carry 6 miles in the backcountry, and can take on just about anything. As a plus, the blades last a long time before they need replacing. (Posted on 3/5/2014)

Great rip hand saw for pruning up to about 10",... larger than that get a chainsaw, or else get a good manual workout with the Ibuki. (Posted on 2/17/2014)

Excellent tool.Very light and easy to carry when gardening or making trails through the lilac bushes. Works well on live or dead branches and is not to cumbersome to take up a ladder for fruit tree work. Great for camping too. (Posted on 12/14/2011)
A chain saw, without the noise Review by Jerry

This saw is more aggressive than the Zubat or Sugoi so it needs more muscle, but it's absolutely the best I've found for felling 2-10 inch ligustrum and chinaberry. I can drop a 3 inch tree in 5 seconds with my Ibuki. (Posted on 12/13/2010)

We've used this saw for 9 months building mountianbike single track in regenerating bush. Has cut literally hundreds of trees/limbs including 12 inch stuff. Still sharp/still strong, used by a variety of people and all have been impressed. (Posted on 7/23/2010)
