Yellow Jacket climbing lines cannot be spliced on both ends

Yellow Jacket is a top-grade, high-tenacity polyester climbing line constructed specifically for tree-working activities. This tightly woven, 16-strand line has all of the characteristics sought by professional arborists, but with less of the bulk and weight. Yellow Jacket is a true half-inch line that works well with many of the mechanical devices utilized by todaySHERRILLtree climber. Yellow Jacket weighs less than older designs, to limit the struggle of dragging it through the tree. Although this design feature compromised some strength, we think you;ll find the difference well worth it. As with ProStripe and Pro Spec, Yellow Jacket does not milk with use

I think this is an underused line. It is not as fancy as the new fangled lines but works just as well. I use this for climbing with an ascendor and natural crotch and/or friction saver climbing. Has low stretch and great feel in the hand. I have also used this line as a srt line with my 200 foot yellow jacket in the tall ones and worked great. (Posted on 2/27/2015)

A bit "softer rope" then I am used to. Been climbing on a 200' Lava for some time now, great rope, needed a second rope for the short stuff. Picked this up about a month ago in a 120' length. Great to put in a bag and ascend... very light and nimble rope. Using a Shizll rope slide to tend slack, super light and fast. The rope starts off a tad slick, but breaks in quick. Tried a number of hitches, using a VT beeline with great results. I also found with the rope having a softer hand, makes repelling with an 8 on both lines smooth. Great rope for an up, in, out, and gone dead wood job! (Posted on 11/13/2014)

Used this line for about 50 climbs so far with friction saver, no wear at all even used it a couple times without the friction saver, the usual fuzz that begins first has not shown up yet really happy with this line, great for mechanicals also (Posted on 3/5/2013)
