Schlepping wood is a necessary evil on many job sites. Getting material from the work zone to the processing/loading zone can be a time vampire with the largest fangs. It can also induce fatigue and slips, trips, and fall worries. Efficiency in that aspect of the job plan is crucial!

That’s where the Pro-Grade Log Dolly steps in. Based on the original Log Dolly design, we’ve added several improvements to beef up its carrying capacity and maneuverability! The Pro-Grade Log Dolly features all-steel tubing construction with mitered robotic welded joints. We’ve added a larger footplate for carrying wider logs. The wheels have been repositioned closer to the load for improved lift and transport, while creating a wider wheelbase that still fits through a 36” gate. New tie-off cleats provide options for strapping the load.

And last but not least, we addressed the biggest challenge of the Log Dolly—shipping cost! Log dollies have always been big and bulky and incurred hefty shipping fees, but by designing the Pro-Grade Log Dolly to ship with minimal assembly required, we can now ship it at an affordable UPS ground rate! Assembly is easy and should take no more than 5 minutes.

Armed with the Pro-Grade Log Dolly, you’ll take control by moving as much as possible with as few trips as possible!

Add steel plate to cover tires Review by Southeast Arborist, LLC

Size and durability are great but this product is a bit expensive for some steel and two tires. That being said I own one myself but since I have used it I realized you could make some improvements. The paint comes off easily which would probably be a problem no matter what is used. Although I think welding a steel plate to the dolly to keep the tires protected would be a huge improvement. I will be adding this to mine since it is a frequent problem when the load is rubbing the tires. It would be such a simple modification to add to your product and would greatly improve its usefulness and ease of operation. (Posted on 12/18/2016)

We are a lanscape maintenance company in Ga. Hurricane Mathew made me resort to cutting trees . With my mini skid down I decided on this dolly. At first we only used it for bringing logs out but the next thing you know my men were packing it down with small brush. It would haul in one trip what all four men could haul each . My smallest man can haul several hundred lbs of wood alone as well. This thing is great and has become a key piece of equipment in this hurricane nightmare. Highly recommended. (Posted on 10/27/2016)

My paints chipping after a few uses and this thing is not made in the USA. I cant believe Sherril Tree and others charge so much for this thing. On a positive note it is useful and does its job, just could be improved. (Posted on 5/16/2016)

I have the older version of this which is still working great. It's one of my best tools I own. I've loaded logs up that were so heavy it took 4 of us to get it out of the back yard. I got mine maybe 8 to 10 years ago for 300. Best of all, I had it shipped to a Vermeer dealer so it was free shipping. So ask them. It might save u some money. (Posted on 3/15/2014)
