Of all workers utilizing rope in their profession, few are as rough or reach for rope as frequently as arborists. SherrillTree, a leading supplier and innovator of tools for arboriculture now offer this exclusive line of rope & tool protection products for those who appreciate solid and heavy-duty protection for life-safety ropes and gear.

Made with 1,000 denier high-performance polyester, nearly twice as thick as comparable products. Two long pockets for storing saws, cabling gear, pruners, etc. Built-in vertical support structure keeps Sherrill bags standing tall–full or empty, wet or dry when other bags collapse. Each have 4 reinforced positions for attaching pack straps for wearing or carabiners for hauling aloft. Two different handle positions provide users with task-oriented grip for optimal ergonomics. High-visibility, reflective trim for safety and quick location at days end.

Following extensive research among professional rope users regarding primary wants and needs, SherrillTree formulated this fully functional, outdoor-tough solution for ropes and tools that takes accessible storage to the next logical stratum. Each bag was designed as a versatile approach to a professional line of complete protection like nothing built before. Smart design, tough materials, easy decision.

Basic RopeBoss® Rope & Tool Bags differ by these features:
  • Oversized rim folds easily out of the way for fast loading then draws tight for protection from the elements.
  • Unique drawstring closure cinches top with minimal effort.
  • Rope can be drawn through top without full exposure to weather or falling debris.

Get these bags while you can! ALL OF THEM!! Only downside is the pull-string top is rather long once pulled shut but just wrap it up after. Great products with an awesome price!! Will be buying more!! (Posted on 10/1/2015)

Great bag- its huge! I use it for my portable "crane in the bag" rigging kit. It holds 200' 3/4" dynasorb, my porta wrap and sling, 2 Nylon slings, 2.2 ton ISC block and a backbone. I've had this bag for almost a year (with the backpack straps because I've got it loaded heavy as hell) and its still in great shape- aside from being extremely dirty lol! The only thing is the cast hook on the backpack strap broke the other day but i wired it back on. All in all 5 Stars!! (Posted on 9/29/2015)

Got this bag a few weeks ago and everything works great with it as a storage container (as it should). Holds 200 ft of new england "the fly" line along with two cambium savers, carabiners, saddle and throw line. Great for anyone who wants is starting off. (Posted on 6/8/2014)
Very Poor quality Review by Harry

First off this is an honest review not just a disgruntled customer...I bought the full set of these bags and after 2 years they are all falling apart in some capacity. The throwline cube was useless after 2 months ( the plastics rods poke through the end and it wont stand up by itself), and the stitching has come apart on all but one small gear bag. The plastc stoppers on the draw string have mostly all broken, anf the handles have also fallen off. Sherrill has so many awesome products to choose from, but this is not one of them. Hoping for some improvements in the quality before I would ever waste money again. (Posted on 6/2/2014)

always loved this bag, although i did have the stitching on the bottom come apart after a year, and like others here, i want to see the zippered top come back, i dont mind paying extra for a quality bag, the cinch string is a pain and gets caught on other things in the truck, please bring back the zippered top!!!! Love the bag, sturdy sidewalls for good support. i have had the bag for almost a month now and have put it to the test. Only dislikes are the drawstring close(tends to get caught in things) and some of the rivets on the inside are coming off (Posted on 4/16/2014)
good, but lik the old style better Review by Craig

I like these bags because of how tough they are. My only gripe is, I wish you still offered it with the zipper top that you fold open like my old style. I might get used to the draw string too, who knows. That draw string just looks like something that will get caught on something and tear. (Posted on 4/12/2014)

I just received this bag and haven't gotten to really use it yet. So far, it looks bomber- well constructed and a good balance between useful features and not having too much excess crap hanging off it. I'll post another review when I've put it through the paces. My one gripe is the tiny little box they packaged it in. When I saw it arrive I thought maybe the rope bag was back-ordered, because surely they couldn't have fit my rope bag in there! Nope, it was indeed CRAMMED down in that box. I probably spent 20 minutes trying to get the stiffeners around the opening bent back into shape. Note to the Sherrill Tree: I'm willing to pay more on shipping to not have my stuff crushed into the smallest possible box. (Posted on 2/13/2014)
