Great pads! Long lasting and most comfortable Review by Treeman

I love these pads!! I've climbed for thirty years, and have tried all the pads, from t-pads to super wraps to big but pads, and these are far and away the most comfortable pads you can have on a set of climbers. You can have them on all day, every day and they never hurt, never rub, never twist, and never let the shaft of climbers poke your leg. They are also the longest lasting pads I've ever had also. I've had the same set for over ten years, and I climb at least 1,000 trees a year in them, probably more, and they have plenty of life left in them. In fact, they look and feel just about the way they did on the first day. I can't praise them enough. Stop looking for the best pads to but because these are the ones! (Posted on 9/11/2017)

I have climbed with these also for 15 years and love them! Totally saved the pain in the legs, almost got out of trees because it hurt so bad after climbing without these then I purchased these. I also love that it is a quick switch out between my short gaffs and long gaffs both Buckingham. (Posted on 5/8/2016)
Comfort, but ... Review by Tim Hinebaugh

The pads feel great, even at the end of an all day removal.Drawbacks are 2: Top strap tends to slip up over the top edge of the pad. Added a small 1.75" x .5" steel strip with 2 bolts into tapped holes. Couple small washers made this a bridge to retain the strap. Also, edges of pad are pretty boxy and often snag lanyard or sling. This is only a small hassle.Overall, I recommend this pad to all, especially new climbers, so they don't have to experience the routine leg pain that I knew for 20 years before I found these pads!
