Good for a cheap buy. Review by TreeNinja

Two hands needed to sheathe the saw. Problematic while climbing. Uses more strokes to cut than I had hoped. Good price though. If you have the cash to upgrade I would highly suggest it. Good for beginners. (Posted on 9/16/2016)

I bought this last year as my first saw, and I've loved using it. I echo the positive comments above. It is still as sharp as when I first got it, and I love the handle. Also, seriously, you can't beat the price for this quality. (Posted on 1/15/2015)
Can't beat the value, ergonomic handle Review by Adam

I too use this with a leather scabbard in the tree. It's sharp, holds its edge forever, and like others said, 1/3 the price. Most of all, I like the ergonomic handle/cutting angle. Makes a huge difference when you're using the hand saw a lot, especially in the tree. (Posted on 1/30/2014)

I know other brands have higher quality blades, but the quality of this saw is still high enough that I use it full time as a climber and for 1/4 the price of the 'other brands.' I would take four of these over one of theirs any day. (Posted on 8/14/2011)

Anyone who misses out on this one is lost. You can fit an ARS blade in it,and the handle can't be beat for lightweight and doesn't drop as easy as a Fann-O. Just buy a normal Leather Scabard, and it's flawless. Who wants to have a Silky that's so sharp it binds when it's new and will blow through your forearm with one mistake?? (Posted on 12/6/2010)
Bad for tree climbing Review by Dave

The saw is an average saw but the scabbard is no good. You always have to use two hands to put the saw in or out of the scabbard. Not good for in the tree work. (Posted on 1/13/2010)
