As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for—and the ARS Turbo-Cut pole saw is no exception. It has a unique adjusting track along the center section that provides smooth, positive adjustment from short to long. The latches on each section are a bit tougher and hold tighter than any we've seen. Flexibility when fully extended and overall weight is virtually the same as the Hayauchi, but an attachment point on the lock-on scabbard makes for a noticeable improvement when hoisting the tool into trees. Unlike the Hayauchi, this tool sports a quick-release saw head, for exchanging with other blades or loppers, and a sap resistant nickel-plated blade that's easily cleaned with rag and mineral spirits. Trust in those old sayings!

Aluminum (and hollow fiberglass) extensions of Silky (and all brands of) pole saws conduct electricity, and misuse of these pole saws can result in severe injury or death if they are brought in contact with high voltage. If you purchase these pole saws, CAREFULLY FOLLOW WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS to avoid direct or incidental contact with electrically energized wires or objects (which can include trees that are in contact with power lines).
