This heavy-duty durable debris containment barrier is a great solution for controlling chips when grinding stumps and chipping brush.

The three-panel system is constructed of a rigid powder-coated .88 inch steel frame for extended durability and easy transportation with added stability control for windy conditions. Each panel is covered with heavy-duty nylon reinforced coarse mesh (30% thicker than competitor’s versions) featuring an extended fabric apron. Rods are contained inside water resistant fabric pockets without the use of snaps or Velcro. Panel connectors can be easily disconnected for expansion with additional panels. Rounded connectors allow panels to adjust individually to variable surface level conditions.

• Alerts bystanders to danger area
• Minimizes cleanup time following stump removals
• Minimizes risk of flying debris
• One time assembly required
• Expandable with additional panels
• Each panel 40.5” w X 45.5” h, total weight 45 lbs.

Works great in parking lots

This was just the ticket for a congested parking lot where cars surround every tree well and stump. High visibility, adjustment to uneven terrain and weight of this guard are all very good.It is a little cumbersome to carry around, but I have found other products that are easier to carry around just don't hold up, nor provide the ease of setup and security this guard does.

Very Impressive

I hesitated on buying this, but so glad i did! It actually saves me a tremendous amount of time on my stump grinding (because in safe areas, i can leave the chip deflector up and the screen keeps me from throwing stump shavings all over the yard. This is a very sturdy and well-built product. You won't regret buying it!

Shoulda bought this years ago.

I have been stump grinding for about six years or so, Vermeer 352, and I cannot believe I lived without one of these shields. I have used tarps, ladders plus tarps, plywood, the side of a skid steer, my own body,.. all to avoid the flying chip problem. This looks professional, is heavy and fairly easy to set up , even on uneven ground which I was happy about. Seems a little on the high side of cost, buy is less then buying a window! I suggest buying the extra little connectors and keeping them in your work truck cause they can break.

Assembly should be tested at factory

Once together they save time and give safety. The T -bar connector pieces were mostly super tight and not aligned properly for easy going together. I actually broke one of the bolts and finished with duct tape. Even with replacement parts I'm not sure how I'd get the old one with the bolt broken off in it out. With a machinist background a pre inspection before a 254.00 cost would have been proper customer preparation. The bolts and threads were not able to fit and the two started and stayed in a bind. I'd keep the designer and fire the inspector.

Best system, even after a year!

After a year of almost daily use the screens are no longer pretty and the mesh is torn in places, but this is still the best system we have used to contain grindings and air-blown soil.

Worth Every Penny

I'm very satisfied with my tri guard. Pretty easy to assemble I think it only took me 30 min. The very first job I did with I'm my customer commented about what a great idea it was. No sooner did a rock fly off the cutter wheel and it stopped it dead!!
