The Hitch Climber is not just another fairlead pulley but the hub of a friction-hitch work-positioning system that helps align carabiners properly. Hot forged 2014 T6 alloy construction with rope-friendly flares and rounded edges, the Hitch Climber supports an assortment of cool tricks for climbing, rescue, and load-hauling duties. Unlike any other micro-sized pulley, the Hitch Climber features a third hole that provides the unique ability to connect two climbing systems into one position on the harness to simplify previously complicated maneuvers. Rapide sintered roller bearings (90% rolling efficiency). For lines 9 to 14mm, 3.4 oz.

Let Down

I am using my hitch climber with a Vt in my climbing system. After a few short weeks only loading the pulley with my body weight the sheaves are bound up and the plates barely turn even though the pulley moves freely.

From SherrillTree: this is the first report of any problem with DMM’s Rapide. Please folks, afford us the opportunity to review, repair or replace such anomalies if they happen. Surely, we humans can understand even a manufacturer of the finest quality hardware might make a mistake from time to time. It’s if and who takes care of you that truly matters.

very happy

Got this the other day, really enjoying the extra attachment point, and the smooth motion in the pulley. Very lightweight, you can really notice the craftsmanship that has gone into the production on this.
