Retreever - Has its ups and downs

This tele reach device, while kind of flimsy, certainly changes the way you think about getting around in a tree. You can grab a throwbag almost 10 ft away. But don't pull too hard! The hook isn't strong and does not retain it's bend if you hit a snag. One of the joints also hyper-extended on me and cut me pretty badly. Sherrill and Co. was very cool about the whole thing. But I have a replacement in mind, because this is one advantage I have come to depend upon

worked well once

It is very flimsy. I did not have as much of a problem with the hook coming un bent as I did with the sections twisting and dropping the rope I was trying to grab. Sherrill did return it with no conflict.

great idea

The device is a great idea, but it'd was just designed to flimsy.I had to stop using it because it kept pulling apart or the hook wouldn't hold its shape and would drop them rope.
