We stumbled upon the perfect solution for holding a throw weight until release and ensuring a clean shot every time with our new replacement tubing. With lengthened straps sewn just above the finger hold, the new BIG SHOT® launch pad grips the projectile firmly until released by hand or trigger. Now you can position the pole at any angle (even upside down!) without the projectile falling from control. Reinforced elastic connection points where tube meets pouch are now extra durable. Don’t wait to upgrade your BIG SHOT® for improved accuracy and productivity - order your  BIG SHOT® parts and replacement tubing today.

Not as good as before

I've been using a BigShot for 9 year now and don't like the new pouch/Tubing combos as much as the old ones (2001 era). The tubing appears to have much less power than before i.e. really struggling to get the projectiles up to the first branches on the emergent Dipterocarps (55 meter to first branch). The projectile also seems to fall out of the pouch more often than in the old fabric pouchs.

From SherrillTree: we suspect that this customers pouch replacement is old stock, possibly dusty dealer inventory. Today’s replacement pouch grasps the projectile very firmly up until release for cleaner, crisper shots. Also, we have more recently included instruction with replacements “to leave only 19-inches of rubber between pouch and horn end which may require either trimming a few inches of tubing or simply pushing the tube further onto the horns than previously removed” (tube length is long to cover oldest Big Shot head models).
