Tree Hazards

When deciding whether to climb a tree, start out by taking a close look at it.

Walk in a circle, starting at the trunk and moving out underneath the
canopy as far as the farthest limbs reach. Look up, using a pair of
binoculars. You're looking for hangers; limbs that have broken off and
could fall on you during your climb.
