Rigging Lines
Rigging is an element of many disciplines yet few are as tough on ropes as arborists. From ship to stage riggers use ropes to control, lift, lower, persuade, drag and hold, yet few are as filthy, gritty or sappy as tree workers. See all of the top choices of today's rugged rigging professionals right here at SherrillTree.
Rigging Lines
Double Braid Lines
Double braid describes this ropes interior/exterior construction. The outer braid (mantle) is woven tight to protect the load-bearing core beneath. This most popular of all rigging line constructions is knot friendly and very tough skinned.

3-Strand Lines
The simplest and least expensive of rope constructions is tough against natural crotch rigging but not ideal for use with blocks and friction control devices.

Solid Braids
These 12-strand solid braids are not splice-friendly but rather firm and tough for both climbing (1/2" version only) and rigging.
