Sherrill's Premium Chaps were of one the first chaps to be UL approved in the U.S. Three internal layers of ballistic material clog the saw chain upon contact. The front is thick, 1000 denier DuPont Cordura, tough enough to defend against mangled brush and thorns, while the back is of breathable nylon. The adjustable waist belt is connected in the back with nylon compression snaps. One note about saw protection: washing is required. Manufacturers suggest that you follow the directions enclosed with this specialized clothing. Sweat, dirt, grit,and oil cause matting of the chain-stopping fibers and greatly reduce their effectiveness. Regular cleaning and drying, according to the instructions provided, keeps ballistic material fluffed and prepared to function. Chaps are orange. Made in the USA. 6-Ply Kevlar polyester blend. UL Class A classified. Meets all OSHA requirements.

All sizes have an adjustable waist up to size 46. Chaps are not measured by your inseam. Chaps are sized from your belt to the top of your boot.
