Designed with the Arborist in mind, Husqvarna chainsaw protective "summer pants" can be worn all day just like regular pants and are machine washable. The articulated knees reduce pull at the waist when bending and stooping, keeping the waist from dragging down excessively. These chainsaw protected safety pants feature large, vented front and back pockets, as well as a cargo leg pocket, provide ample storage while the Caribou outer fabric is very durable, water-repellant, cool, and, of utmost importance-comfortable. Six layers of chain-saw protective material cover the front, sides, and calves while the backside is a fully breathable (non-saw-jamming) polyester fabric.

Conforms to OSHA, ASTM F1897, ANSI Z133.1, and ULClassified. We suggest buying chainsaw proof safety pants slightly loose and using suspenders. This popular wearing style among woodsmen greatly improves air circulation up through the waist, where heat tends to build. Buttons are inside for suspender use, and loops along the waist are for a belt.

Very large fitting pants (more like snow pants) we had the back thigh section taken in to have a better fit. Good for winter but these are NOT summer pants. They are heavy and hot. Yes we are in Australia but being raised in Western Canada these pants are still to hot for a Canadian summer. Good quality though and price for winter Chainsaw pants.

not so hot

Hot but not too hot for most of the summer ( shorts are more comfortable ) Very comfortable but large fitting. The zippers are garbage and the stitching fell apart but managed to sew them back together and make them last over a year. can't beat the price though I'm ordering another pair now

Not what I expected

My main complaint is the protective lairs don't go high enough. There is no protection for your upper thighs! Hot and heavy! Bottum snap on one leg broke after only 2 uses. Just buy chaps instead of this fancy looking junk.

Poor buttons all the paints we order all the buttons come off. The zippers broke first week. Great idea, very poorly built. The product has not changed in four years ????

Love them cool and they bend where I bend and I even like the color.

poorly engineered

I have worn PPE for over 30 years and have yet to find climbing pants that don't run short and baggy, with consistent fit, well sewn, with quality zippers, and made with materials that don't collect saw dust like a lint brush. These pants are particularly poor at any price, though they were much better 20 years ago. Side pockets that zip up??? really? How about a pocket full of poison ivy sawdust for genius with that idea... I give them 2 stars because lower price is a plus and they may work for occasional users. Anyway I will now try the new Sherrill pants. They look similar to some overpriced imports I have used before I hope they are better.
