Who's the angel here?
First things first. This is Anne, Cam and I standing next to the Angel Oak near Charleston, SC, a regular stop on the way to the coast. Anne's a photographer by trade and Cameron's in first grade (3 at this time).

A brother's gift
Here I am sitting above certified arborist Tony Tressalt of Pennsylvania 240 feet up in a Sitka Spruce on the Olympic Peninsula along the Washington coast. Tony's brother Ben purchased this climbing expedition as a gift for his little brother and wife at the 2005 TREE Fund auction. Proceeds from this auction are spent for the benefit of urban trees.

Urban Climber
Reporter "Randi" with Urban Climber magazine was excited about the possibilities of tree climbing among kids at her indoor climbing wall club. An article was produced from this climb in the April/May 2006 issue.
