1. Does SherrillTree have gift certificates that I can purchase?

Yes. We do offer gift certificates in $25, $50, $75, $100 and $150 denominations.  They can be found and purchased through our website by clicking the Gift Certificate icon on the WORK section Homepage or you can call 1-800-525-8873 and order them directly from our customer service team.

2. Can I use my gift certificates on my web purchases?

Yes. You simply need to enter the Gift/Coupon Code (located on the back side of your gift certificate) and the certificate dollar amount into the Comments Box on our Order Check Out page and your order will be credited.

3. Does SherrillTree offer an introductory climbing kit?

Yes, we do offer an introductory nine piece climbing kit. Call our SherrillTree customer service team for details.

4. Does SherrillTree only sell products to businesses?

We actually sell to individuals as well as a variety of businesses and industries.

5. How can I get additional information on the products?

Some of our products have associated PDFs that have more detailed information on the respective product and its application. Most PDFs can be reached via a web link on the individual product pages. We also have a list of the most requested PDFs at the following location Product Instructions.  As always, you can contact our knowledgeable customer service team from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Monday through Friday and they will be happy to give you additional information as well.

6. What are your hours of operation?

Standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (except on holidays). Night calls are taken by our telephone answering service. Our website is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at http://www.sherrilltree.com/.  Note that orders placed after 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, or on weekends and holidays, will be processed the following business day.

7. Is the freight calculation correct on your website?

The freight cost for each website order is an approximation. We calculate shipping costs utilizing a freight chart that applies to packages being mailed in the continental U.S. This chart's calculations usually cover the shipping costs; however, the chart's figures are measured on a basis of averages. Freight charges are actually determined by weight, and rarely match the freight chart exactly. Heavy weight items such as cable, fertilizer, rope, etc. can cause shipping costs to be much higher. Therefore, our freight chart does not apply to orders containing these items. Exact shipping costs cannot be determined until the weight is totaled and calculated against your shipping zone at the end of each day. International shipments are quoted on an individual basis, depending on destination, weight and dimensions.

Due to new UPS and FedEx regulation, the shipping charges for oversized packages (such as poles, elongated power tools, and log dollies) will significantly increase. 8. Does SherrillTree sell Oregon chain and other chainsaw accessories?

Yes, as of March 1st, 2007 SherrillTree is carrying an expanded list of Oregon products.  You can purchase these products from our website at this link chainsaws and parts or you can call our customer service team at 800-525-8873.

9. How long has SherrillTree been in business?

SherrillTree was established in 1960 and incorporated in 1971 as a manufacturer's representative agency for lawn and garden products (including mowers, tractors and cutting tools). SherrillTree entered the tree care industry in full force in 1983 while selling and servicing rental stores with stump grinders, chippers and aerial lifts. SherrillTree published its first arborist supply catalog in 1990 and has been expanding the tree care industry product line ever since.

10. Does SherrillTree charge state sales tax?

Yes, SherrillTree charges state sales tax for the following states: North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

11. Does SherrillTree offer any benefits to TCIA members?

Yes. We send 5% of your purchase amount, excluding tax and shipping charges, to the TCIA. Half of this amount is applied toward your next TCIA membership and half is applied to the development of safety and educational programs for the tree care industry. Please type "TCIA Member" in the Comments & Promotional Codes box when placing your order or inform customer service when placing your order by phone.
